Simultaneous translation weddings in Brazil; call us at 11 9 9934 4647. In addition to the many and varied events we always work at, such as fairs, congresses, conferences and conventions, there is another type of event that is becoming increasingly important and common in this globalized world; the marriages and weddings of foreigners to Brazilians.
Last week we simultaneously translated a beautiful wedding in one of the Bisutti Group’s event venues, a well-known network of buffets for weddings and events. The groom, German. The bride, Brazilian. The common language for all guests: English. With portable, state-of-the-art simultaneous translation equipment, the interpreter spoke with the priests before the ceremony to align the vocabulary, Bible texts to be read, and songs to be sung.
The marriage was a success; 27 guests used the receivers to listen to the simultaneous translation of Daniella’s wedding. And what is marriage?
Marriage establishes a stable life for a couple, where two people will share a routine, problems, achievements, concerns and joys. It also offers a lifelong companion and does it without interest, expecting nothing in return.
Marriage is the choice of someone to spend the rest of our lives with, a person who fulfills our aspirations and who is usually different from us, and represents the balance we seek. It is common to see a very quiet person who marries someone very outgoing and talkative, or a person who is too homely and who marries a person who loves a busy social life. Anyway, marriage is the meeting with our half, is to seek in the other what we are not.
Professional Interpreters have translated several marriages, and apparently will continue to do simultaneous translation of (happy) marriages for many, many years. Therefore, if you need simultaneous translation for weddings in Brazil, contact us at 55 11 9 9934 4647.
